How did you discover Minnie?: Thanksgiving weekend when I listen to Capitol Gold: The Best of Minnie Riperton on casette for the first time, and every time she hits those high notes, I was blown away.
Favorite Minnie Song: Wow... it had to be "Memory Lane", "Can You Feel What I'm Saying", "I'm A Woman", "Lovin' You", "I'm In Love Again" (duet with the late great Michael Jackson ), and of course... "Young, Willing And Able".

How did you discover Minnie?: I'm a HUGE Michael Jackson fan. i purchased the rare Japanese Love Lives Forever CD from Tower Records just to hear the duet with Michael, this was 1992, i became a Minnie fan that day really, i was hooked, i played that album over and over, i enjoyed every song. i started collecting all her other CD's after this.

Favorite Minnie Song: i like them all. i'm listening to 'Alone In Brewster Bay' right now.

I discovered Minnie when I was a teenager. I remember hearing "Lovin You" On the radio in the spring of 1975. Right around the time my sister was born. But, I really got into her music when I was in junior high. A friend of mine's mom had was a Minnie fan and had some of her albums. My favorite album is her last one (sadly) "Minnie." Favorite Song is Memory Lane. I lost my dad to cancer two years ago and I go back down Memory Lane a lot thinking about him. Oh, I also like "Seeing You This Way". Thank you for this site. By the way, My son was born in February 1993!!

Hi, Justin. It's no wonder we're both HUGE Michael Jackson fans!!! Can u believe it's been a year since he died? And the harmonies between them towards the end of "I'm In Love Again"... it hits me in the heart and get carried away. I could hear them serenading on stage with thousands of angels in heaven...
